Finally - I'm beginning to understand the layout of the city and where things are...forming a mental map. Still a little tricky but I've got the metro system down. It's really wonderful - you can pretty much go anywhere your heart desires.Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Tarragona and Valencia. They divided the program in half my levels so that half are going to Tarragona first and the other half - Valencia. I'm excited for the trip. I'm sure I'll meet more people on the trip and my housemates are in my group too. Tarragona is supposedly a Roman ruin and I don't know too much about Valencia other than its pretty and has a beach. I should probably be packing now...oh well.
So I'm sure you all heard about the fish head by now...pretty funny. And scary.
Oh funny story! Tania's brother's name is Javier!!!! Hahaha. I told her that Javier was supposed to be my "Spanish lover."
My RA informed me today that Jack Johnson will be performing in Barcelona in June! How funny is that? I thought I was missing his Chicago appearance and now he's supposed to be here! What are the odds!?
I told Dad about this one, but last night we went out and at one of the bars, 8 of us shared a 15 LITER Rum and Coke! It was bigger than a fishbowl. We were all just sipping on it and had only drank about 2 or 3 inches of it and then the manager told us that the bar was closing in 10 minutes so we slurped it all gone in only 10 minutes! Matt and Liz - we DEFINITELY could have used your help! Haha.
Anyways...I'm having a good time here and I hope you all are doing well at home. I miss you all very much and love you lots. I probably won't be able to talk as much this weekend and may not be bringing my laptop....so adios for now.
